While there are numerous legit talents in SEO there are those that will work but if you get caught using them the results can be tragic.

When SEO became a problem many methodologies were employed because at that point the search engines utilized a much easier algorithm. As these tricks were used to exploit the faster algorithms they were also served to make them more sophisticated. Cloaking and redirects are methods whereby you show one page to the search site but a different one to the visitor. A redirect simply brings visitors to one page and then sends them to another page by refreshing the page with one on their site. Cloaking involves fooling a search site’s indexer into believing that it is something else and getting the indexer to send fake info back to its chairman. This isn’t the same thing as a legitimized destination page. In this example you use any and all strategies to excessively optimize a single and use that to steer folks to your internet site. This would require using all of the above strategies for this one page.

The final penalty for using the sneaky strategies is banishment from the search engines themselves. Use caution when you employ these dark techniques for fear of this punishment. Being punished is one thing but to not even be on a search website in the 1st place is your worst case eventuality.
